Rationale
Brudiclad is a 6cmc UR legendary that grants all creature tokens haste and, at the beginning of combat, creates a 2/1 Myr token then optionally mass-converts all other tokens into a copy of any chosen token. It is a signature engine in token-go-wide shells that also generate a single powerful token (e.g. a Wurm, Construct, or Dragon), instantly converting a wide board into a lethal alpha-strike. Its combo potential with tokens that have strong ETB/attack triggers (e.g. treasures, hasty threats) makes it a defining commander for polymorph-adjacent token strategies. Six mana with RR/UU pips and needing a token board to shine means it's slow and removal-magnet but extremely high ceiling in the right shell.
Learnings (3)
Brudiclad's mass-copy ability triggers at the beginning of combat, so the newly created 2/1 Myr token exists before you choose the target copy — meaning you can use that Myr itself as the copy template, or choose a more powerful token already in play.

The strongest Brudiclad lines involve creating a single token with a powerful attack or death trigger (e.g. Kiki-Jiki copies, Drakuseth, or Shark tokens), then converting an entire army of Treasures, Servos, or Thopters into that token for a lethal one-turn swing — the board must exist before combat begins.

Brudiclad interacts non-obviously with tokens that have triggered ETB abilities: because the mass-copy is a 'becomes a copy' effect (not creating new tokens), it does NOT re-trigger ETBs on the converted tokens — only on tokens that were newly created and then become the copy.
