Donatello pumps artifacts with +1/+1 counters (turning non-creature artifacts into 0/0 Robot creatures), then redistributes those counters when artifacts die — making him a synergy engine in artifact-matters and +1/+1 counters shells. He's a natural commander or 99-card engine for blue artifact-counters strategies, but the sorcery-speed tap and artifact density requirement constrain his raw power.

Donatello's activated ability turns non-creature artifacts into 0/0 Robot creatures — without enough counters to keep them alive, they immediately die, which actually triggers his second ability and passes the counters forward. This can be intentional sacrifice-looping with cheap artifacts.
