Rationale

6cmc 4/4 legendary ape-goat — ETB puts a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control, then grants pseudo-evasion (can't be blocked by more than one creature) to all your creatures with power 4 or greater. Fits best in go-wide counter shells where the ETB pump pushes multiple creatures over the power-4 threshold to immediately benefit from the evasion static ability; also slots into counters-voltron as a finisher enabler. At 6 mana with a modest 4/4 body, it's outclassed by green's top-end threats in competitive Commander but is a reasonable build-around in casual.

Learnings (2)

  • The ETB counter and the evasion static interact well together — if you already have several creatures at 3 power, the ETB bump to 4 can immediately grant evasion to all of them on the same turn Flopsie enters, creating a surprise alpha-strike opening.

  • The evasion clause ('can't be blocked by more than one creature') is weaker than trample or flying in go-wide shells because tokens are typically small; it shines most in counters-voltron or midrange boards where you have a few large threats that need to punch through.
