Rationale
Gorma is a 3cmc legendary Pest Frog with lifelink that grows via death triggers and grants incoming nontoken creatures +1/+1 counters equal to this turn's death count — making it a snowballing aristocrats/sacrifice engine that rewards creature churn. It's signature in aristocrats and sacrifice shells where creatures die repeatedly in a single turn, letting each subsequent ETB creature enter larger; plus-one-counters and counters-voltron decks exploit the stat inflation. Tokens-go-wide is a soft negative because Gorma only pumps nontoken creatures, wasting the static ability on the deck's primary payoff; control lacks the creature density to trigger it meaningfully.
Learnings (3)
Gorma's static ability only applies to NONTOKEN creatures entering the battlefield, meaning heavy token-generator builds get almost no value from the second ability despite frequent death triggers.

Because Gorma's ETB counter bonus scales with creatures that died 'this turn,' mass sacrifice effects (e.g. Ashnod's Altar loops) executed in a single turn allow the next nontoken ETB to enter with an enormous counter bonus, enabling surprise one-shot voltron lines.

Gorma itself grows from any creature death including tokens, so it can become a very large lifelink attacker even in a token-heavy shell — but the ETB static clause remains nontoken-only regardless.
