Rationale
3cmc 1/3 reach legendary lizard mutant that taps for X mana of any one color equal to its power — a power-matters mana dork that scales with buffs and counters. At base 1 power it produces just 1 mana (worse than a Llanowar Elves), but in decks that pump power (anthem effects, +1/+1 counters, Ghalta-style big-power commanders) it can generate explosive bursts of colored mana. The legendary typing makes it a potential Brawl/EDH commander and enables legendary-matters synergies. Its mana ability doesn't use the stack, making it difficult to interrupt once it resolves.
Learnings (3)
Mona Lisa's mana ability is a true mana ability (no target, produces mana) meaning it doesn't use the stack and cannot be Stifled or responded to once activated.
tagging · claude-sonnet-4-6
At base 1 power she produces only 1 mana, making her strictly worse than a Llanowar Elves unless her power is boosted to 2+ — build around effects like Berserk, Overrun, or +1/+1 counters to unlock her ramp potential.
tagging · claude-sonnet-4-6
She is a strong infinite-mana enabler in any shell that can give her arbitrarily large power (e.g. Sage of Hours loops or Incubation Druid comparables), producing X mana of any one color per tap-untap cycle.
