Rationale

A 7cmc 7/7 trample-haste legendary that cheats a creature onto the battlefield tapped and attacking whenever it attacks, generating immediate board presence and value. Signature in Gruul aggro/midrange shells where a top-end haymaker with built-in haste and attack-trigger creature cascade is defining. At 7 mana it's too slow for control or combo and competes against stronger top-ends in optimized brackets.

Learnings (3)

  • The attack trigger reveals cards until a creature is found and puts it onto the battlefield tapped and attacking — this bypasses summoning sickness and can trigger that creature's own attack triggers, enabling chain-value in creature-dense decks.

  • Because the remaining non-creature cards go to the bottom of the library in a random order (not the top), this is a mild anti-synergy with top-deck manipulation strategies like Sensei's Divining Top or Scroll Rack.

  • In high-creature-count decks, the expected number of reveals before hitting a creature is low — running 25+ creatures meaningfully improves the trigger's reliability and speed.
