Slash is a 7/5 legendary for 5 that punishes every creature ETB with 2 damage to each opponent (Alliance trigger) and generates a 2/2 Mutant token on every attack. In a tokens-go-wide or creature-dense shell, each token created can chain into another Alliance trigger, enabling burst damage to the table. In multiplayer Commander the Alliance trigger hits 3 opponents for a potential 6 damage per creature entry, making it a legitimate burn/drain payoff; in 1v1 Brawl the trigger hits only one opponent, reducing its ceiling and keeping it at tier-2.
