Rationale
A 3-mana 3/6 vigilance/reach creature that taps for any color and gains 3 life on ETB — a solid body with excellent defensive stats and mana fixing. However, it can't attack or block until three or more Lesson cards are in the graveyard, making it a pure mana-rock/blocker early and a payoff only in dedicated Lesson/self-mill shells. Outside that niche, it's a slow, conditional threat that doesn't pull its weight as a combat piece.
Learnings (3)
The Lion-Turtle's attack/block restriction is specifically tied to Lesson-subtype cards in the graveyard, not generic instants/sorceries — decks without dedicated Lesson package (e.g. Strixhaven cards like Introduction to Prophecy, Elemental Summoning) will rarely unlock it as a combat piece.

Despite its restriction, the card is a functional 3-mana mana-rock with a 3/6 body that gains 3 life on entry, making it playable in ramp-heavy shells even if combat is never enabled.

The Lesson graveyard requirement is cumulative and non-repeating — you need three different instances in the yard, so mill synergies that dump Lessons (Witherbloom Apprentice, Biblioplex Assistant) are the fastest path to unlocking it.
